Indian Super League (ISL) is one of the top football leagues in India. Each season, they compete in a regular season followed by playoffs to determine the league champion. The ISL has played a significant role in popularizing football in India and has attracted both Indian and international talent to the league. In the 2023-24 Indian Super League (ISL) season, a significant expansion has occurred with the participation of 12 teams, up from 11 in the previous season. The newest addition is Team Punjab FC, marking their ISL debut.

Mohun Bagan

This team was the result of a merger between two historic football clubs, ATK (formerly Atletico de Kolkata) and Mohun Bagan. They are based in Kolkata, West Bengal, and have a passionate fan base.

Bengaluru FC

Bengaluru FC is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. They were one of the newer teams in the ISL but quickly established themselves as a strong team in the league.

Chennaiyin FC

Chennaiyin FC is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. They are one of the most successful teams in the ISL, having won multiple titles.

East Bengal FC

East Bengal is another historic football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. They joined the ISL in the 2020-2021 season.

FC Goa

Based in Goa, FC Goa has been known for its attacking style of play and has a loyal fan following.

Hyderabad FC

This team is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, and made its debut in the ISL in the 2019-2020 season.

Jamshedpur FC

Jamshedpur FC is based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. They were one of the newer teams in the ISL but have been steadily improving.

Kerala Blasters FC

Kerala Blasters, based in Kochi, Kerala, has one of the most passionate fan bases in the ISL.

Mumbai City FC

Mumbai City FC represents Mumbai, Maharashtra. They have been competitive in the league and won their first ISL title in the 2020-2021 season.

NorthEast United FC

NorthEast United is based in Guwahati, Assam. They have had a presence in the league since its inception.

Odisha FC

Based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha FC joined the ISL in the 2019-2020 season and represents the state of Odisha.

Punjab FC

The newest addition is Team Punjab FC based in Mohali, Punjab. They are marking their ISL debut in this season.
